# Manage or cancel your subscription

> Update your card or cancel through the billing portal linked from Settings.

1. Go to [Settings](https://dealslide.com/settings).
1. Under **Subscription**, click **Manage**. The button appears only if you have a Pro subscription.
1. Stripe's billing portal opens in the same tab. From there you can update your card or cancel. The portal has a link back to Settings.

Canceling takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep Pro until then, and Settings still shows it. After that, your account moves to the [free plan](https://dealslide.com/docs/free-vs-pro).

Your saved searches, watchlist and hidden listings stay. Watchlisted listings that are no longer live stay on your list, but you can't open them. Saved searches whose **Status** filter includes anything besides Live stop sending email alerts, and opening one shows Live listings only. Alerts resume if you upgrade again.
