# Create an account

> Sign up with Google, or with an email and password. Email signups verify their address with a code.

You can browse listings without an account. You need one to save searches, build a watchlist, or get alerts.

## Sign up

1. Go to the [sign-up page](https://dealslide.com/signup), or click **Log in** at the top of any page and switch to the **Sign up** tab.
1. Choose **Sign up with Google**, or enter your email and a password twice, then click **Sign Up**.
1. If you used email, we send an 8-character code from notifications@email.dealslide.com. Enter it exactly as shown (it's case-sensitive) within 10 minutes. Until you verify, browsing listings sends you back to enter the code.

Passwords need at least 8 characters, with an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, and a number.

## Didn't get the code?

Check your spam or junk folder for mail from notifications@email.dealslide.com. Then click **Request a new code** on the verification page, or **Send Verification Code** if it shows no code box. Each new code replaces the last one. Still nothing? [Contact us](https://dealslide.com/contact-us).

## What you get right away

Once you're in, we create a saved search called **Default - All Listings** with weekly email alerts. Every Tuesday it emails you how many new live listings were added in the past seven days, with a link to browse listings newest first. In weeks with no new listings it has nothing to send. You can rename it, switch its emails between daily and weekly or turn them off, or delete it on [Saved Searches](https://dealslide.com/saved-searches).

We also add new accounts to our marketing email lists. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link at the bottom of those emails.

## Google or password

Your account uses the method you signed up with: Google, or email and password. The two don't link. If your email already has a password account, signing up or logging in with Google using that address won't work, so log in with your password instead.
